Activity: Strengths in Action – Disciplined & Proactive

Objective:

Learn how to apply the words disciplined and proactive to real-life situations by watching a video and reflecting on personal experiences.


Step 1: Choose One Video

Watch one of the following videos and answer the questions related to your choice.

  1. How to be Proactive in Life (Proactive vs Reactive)

    (This video explains the difference between being proactive and reactive, and how taking initiative helps in life.)

  2. How to Use the Power of Self-Discipline | Brian Tracy

    (This video discusses the importance of self-discipline and strategies to develop it.)


Step 2: Reflection & Writing Practice

Answer the questions related to the video you chose.

If you chose “How to be Proactive in Life”:

  • What example stood out to you the most about being proactive? Why?
  • Think of a time when you were proactive instead of waiting for a problem to happen. How did it help?
  • How can you be more proactive in your daily routine?

If you chose “How to Use the Power of Self-Discipline”:

  • What is one takeaway you learned from Brian Tracy’s video about self-discipline?
  • Describe a time when you showed discipline in your daily life. What was the outcome?
  • What is one area where you want to become more disciplined?
