Reflecting on New Year’s Resolutions with Friends (and More!)

The start of a new year is the perfect time to reflect on the past and set goals for the future. But let’s make it fun and creative! This activity combines laughter and learning with an iconic Friends clip, where the characters hilariously tackle New Year’s resolutions.

Whether you’re an experienced goal-setter or someone whoโ€™s just starting to think about resolutions, this exercise will help you practice expressive writing and critical thinking in English.

You’ll also get a chance to share your own resolutions and reflect on the steps to achieve them. Donโ€™t worryโ€”itโ€™s not all serious! Letโ€™s have fun exploring the humor and meaning behind resolutions (and maybe even make some youโ€™ll actually keep this year).

Ready to dive in? Grab a cup of coffee (or tea), watch the clip, and letโ€™s get started!
